Egg Events organises the Annual Meeting for Perfume Holding: kick off in Mexico

This is not the first time that Egg Events, part of the Casta Diva Group, has organised the international convention for Perfume Holding, a company which produces and distributes perfume products.

This year also the 2016 International Seminar takes place in two different locations: from 18th to 21st April at the Carmen Beach Resort in Mexico and from 22nd to 25th May in Bali, Indonesia.

“Each year the client asks us to scout various destinations in order decide on a location for the two main meetings, one in the East and one in America/Europe, to host delegates. This year we have once again selected international hubs for business events which also offer the right mix of leisure”, says Vanessa Fulvio, Client Director of Egg Events Rome, the agency which last year for the same event was awarded second prize in the ‘Incentive’ category at the Best Events Awards.

The event in Mexico, in the prestigious and recently-constructed Grand Hyatt Carmen Beach Resort, concluded on 21st April: five intensive days involving plenary conventions, business meetings and the “PH Village”, an area designed like an expo in miniature to present all the brands of the group, where guests could enjoy cocktails made up of the colours and the essences of the various brands. There was also plenty of entertainment: the launch of the first Bikkembergs perfume opened with the eagerly awaited tournament “Billiards in..Sombreros”, held on the beach. Following the tournament was a Mexican dinner with tables on the sand looking out onto a crystalline sea, accompanied by the wonderfully catching music of a traditional Mexican band. The gala dinner was held in an original location by an authentic sunken pool, one of the most ancient sweetwater grottos venerated by the Maya. The guests were welcomed by a Mayan purification rite and a show, which would remain in their memories for a long time.

The conclusion of the event was celebrated on board a catamaran, sipping margheritas as the sun set, with dinner on Maroma Beach, considered to be one of the most beautiful stretches of sand in the world.

The next convention of the 2016 International Seminar is at this moment being prepared in Bali.
