Casta Diva Pictures USA is thrilled to announce the signing of award-winning Canadian director Ian Robertson for North American representation.

Nominated for Best Direction at the 2013 Canadian Comedy Awards, Robertson is noted for his international award-winning work for Converse, as well as global brands such as Gaviscon and KFC.

He is currently wrapping up post-production on a new Volkswagen spot – a further addition to a showcase of car work that establishes his name amongst the best in the industry and spans global household names including Audi and Honda.

As well as commercials, Ian directs award winning short films (‘Back up Boyfriend’), feature films (’Unlucky’), and is currently developing a new feature called ‘Atomic Switchblade’ and a television show, ‘Path in the Woods’.

“With every new project I’m always looking for a way to add that visual twist that makes a good idea, great.” Said Robertson.

Having started out as a director at MTV while living in Milan, Robertson has since returned to Canada, keeping up his work with a long list of high profile clients that take him all over the world and enrich an already vast international experience, which he brings to every production.

Casta Diva Pictures USA Executive Producer, Richard Robinson says of the signing, “we are very proud and pleased to have such a talented and versatile director on board – Ian adds an extra layer of expertise to our already diverse US roster.”
