NC DIGITAL AWARDS: CDG IS THE BEST DIGITAL PRODUCTION COMPANY

November 24, 2016

At the 5th NC Digital Awards, created and organized by ADC Group to recognize the very best in digital communication, Casta Diva Group has been awarded the Best Digital Production Company thanks to the fact that “Flights” and “One smile is enough to change our world”, the two projects produced by Casta Diva Buenos Aires (part of Casta Diva Group) and Dinamo Istanbul (the Group’s Turkish office), have racked up three prizes.

“Flights”, produced for El Cronista Comercial, Argentina’s daily financial newspaper of record, won the top prize in the Digital Events category. This multi-awarded film was conceived as a metaphorical experience of the ups and downs of the stock market. The newspaper invited fans of its Facebook page to an airfield on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, and offered them the opportunity to take part in aerobatic displays. What emerged was a spectacular event that permitted those who lack expertise in the subject to experience the excitement and adrenalin to which those who work in the money markets are exposed daily.

“One smile is enough to change our world”, produced for EÇADEM, a non-governmental Turkish organization which provides support to disabled children, won a Silver in the Best Results category and a Bronze in its Use of Video category, both in the context of the Facebook Awards.
The objective of the film was to change the way in which people view and interact with disabled children and young people, and to promote the work of the Support Centre for Disabled Children (EÇADEM). The film was shot with hidden cameras and without professional actors, only with the collaboration of families with disabled children.

Both films immediately went viral and soon chalked up award upon award, not only in their respective countries but also throughout the world, among which were two Cannes Lions and three golds at EuBea (European Best Event Awards) for “Flights” and one gold and one silver at EuBea for “One smile is enough to change our world”.
